Job Description

Join Boeing as an Associate Propulsion Analysis Engineer and contribute to the development of innovative propulsion systems for next-generation airplanes. Be part of a collaborative Flight Sciences team focused on pushing the boundaries of aviation technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the definition of requirements for propulsion systems
  • Define functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle
  • Configure or design propulsion sub-systems to meet vehicle design specifications
  • Conduct testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation activities
  • Support verification tests for propulsion sub-systems
  • Review and process engine and component qualification documentation
  • Assist with propulsion ground and flight test planning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or work-related experience with a Master's degree
  • Understanding of the interactions between propulsion, aerodynamics, and flight controls
  • Knowledge of internal and external flow characteristics related to inlets, nozzles, and engine operation
