Key Responsibilities
Support the definition of requirements for propulsion systems
Define functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle
Configure or design propulsion sub-systems to meet vehicle design specifications
Conduct testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation activities
Support verification tests for propulsion sub-systems
Review and process engine and component qualification documentation
Assist with propulsion ground and flight test planning
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or work-related experience with a Master's degree
Understanding of the interactions between propulsion, aerodynamics, and flight controls
Knowledge of internal and external flow characteristics related to inlets, nozzles, and engine operation
