Assignment Overview:

HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist / CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Riverhead, NY. This is an evening shift role in a busy hospital or imaging environment, providing patient care and diagnostic imaging support.

Position Details:

• Shift: Evenings – 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

• Schedule: Every other weekend required

• Hours: 8-hour shifts

• On-Call: None

Required Qualifications:

For Physical Therapist (PT):

• Valid PT license in NY (can be pending if start within 6 weeks, but must be active before start)

• Masters or DPT in Physical Therapy

• Minimum 3+ years clinical experience , including experience with ICU, Neuro, Ortho, Cardio, or Trauma patients

For CT Technologist (CT):

• Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology

• ARRT registration – CT required

• NY State CT license

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience

• BLS required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and high-acuity patients

• EPIC or hospital EMR experience

Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist:

• Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability

• Educate patients on exercises and prevention strategies

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team

CT Technologist:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans according to departmental protocols

• Operate CT equipment, including contrast administration and image processing

• Assist in patient positioning and preparation

• Ensure patient safety and adhere to radiation safety protocols

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as needed

• Stand and walk for extended periods during patient care and imaging

• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and assist patients safely
