Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as an Electrical Engineering Technologist, where you'll design and support industrial electrical systems for welding machines and consumables. Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance equipment reliability and safety while enjoying competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Modify solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments
Maintain and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs
Update and support National Instruments LabVIEW code
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams
Apply NEC knowledge for planning equipment installations
Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and timelines
Lead projects and solve complex problems
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Integrate equipment into data collection systems
Support network backup and device patching management
Compile data from connected devices for organizational use
Assume additional responsibilities for projects aligned with company goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
3+ years of professional experience
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical CAD software
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and test equipment
Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 79
Basic networking concepts and SQL Database knowledge
