Key Responsibilities
Provide speech language pathology diagnostic and treatment services
Conduct assessments to determine nature and severity of communication disorders
Document treatment notes and reports as required
Monitor individuals’ progress and maintain accurate treatment records
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and goal development
Educate and train direct care staff and families on speech and language activities
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active licensure in Michigan
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Ability to work with consumers having special needs due to neurological disability/TBI
Ability to design, implement, update and document consumer treatment programs
