Job Description
Join Pace Drivers as a Local Class A Truck Driver, where you'll operate manual transmission flatbed trucks to deliver building materials safely. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with opportunities for performance-based pay increases after training.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Class A manual transmission tractor-trailers with Moffett equipment
Deliver lumber to local job sites (5–10 stops daily)
Assist with loading and securing materials; unload using Moffett
Verify delivery accuracy by comparing items with invoices
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, hours of service, and inspections
Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
Provide professional and courteous service
Use handheld devices to comply with DVIR and HOS requirements
Perform routine vehicle inspections and cleanliness checks
Adhere to company and customer safety procedures
Attend periodic safety meetings
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of CDL A delivery driving experience
