You will provide personalized care, evaluate and treat speech disorders, and work collaboratively with a dedicated team to enhance patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology service to patients
Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care
Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments
Observe, record and report changes in patients' conditions
Provide instruction and training in alternative communication systems
Counsel and instruct patients, families and healthcare staff
Maintain documentation and submit timely reports
Participate in care coordination activities and discharge planning
Attend internal staff development programs and obtain continuing education
Required Qualifications
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist/speech language pathologist
Current and unrestricted license
Current CPR certification
Good organizational and communication skills
A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
