**Job Description: Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a busy level 1 trauma facility, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a telemetry and progressive care setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry/PCU unit.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status, responding to changes promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as needed, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Float to other like units as required to ensure optimal patient care across the facility.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a busy level 1 trauma facility.
- Current New Jersey RN License.
- Current certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
**Schedule:**
- 36 hours per week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or 48 hours from Friday to Monday.
- Commitment to providing excellent care on the Night Shift.
