Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home occupational therapy services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual disorders under the direction of a physician
  • Schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner
  • Regularly handle confidential information
  • Maintain communication with agency staff, physicians, and the general public

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
  • Current state license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long term care setting
  • CPR certification
  • Good assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Energetic and good time management skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in acute care or home care
