As a Reserve Anesthesiologist in the U.S. Army, you'll provide critical anesthetic care to Soldiers and their families, engage in humanitarian missions, and have opportunities for professional growth and leadership training. This role allows you to combine your medical expertise with a commitment to serving your country.
Key Responsibilities
Provide preoperative care for Soldiers and their families
Administer anesthetics during surgical procedures
Support humanitarian missions as needed
Participate in continued education programs and training
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
Completion of a training program in anesthesiology
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty or permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
