Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour daylight shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Must work every other weekend including Saturday and Sunday
• Holiday rotation requirement - work every other holiday
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 (up to 1:6 for med-surg acuity patients)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
• Must be able to titrate drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin
• Experience with Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow ventilation required
• Navy blue scrubs required (jackets must also be navy blue)
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Two-shift orientation with preceptor provided
• May float to ICU as helping hands
• Serve as central monitor station for entire hospital
• Care for heavy cardiac patients including dysrhythmias, CVAs, and patients downgraded from ICU
• BSN not required
• Valid unexpired driver's license must be submitted with application

This acute care hospital features a 28-bed private stepdown unit that serves as the central monitoring station for the entire facility. The hospital maintains 24/7 hospitalist coverage with intensivist support and provides comprehensive services including in-house respiratory therapy and pharmacy. The facility uses EPIC charting system and offers supportive leadership with flexible block scheduling options for staff.
