The Southern Illinois University Center for Family Medicine is seeking interested individuals to fill a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position will serve as the Assistant Residency Program Director and the Director of Osteopathic Education, within the FQHC Federally Qualified Health Center located in Decatur, IL. This position will practice both outpatient and inpatient medicine. Teaching opportunities will include working with medical students, physician assistant students and family medicine residents through the SIU School of Medicine. Qualified applicants must possess an MD or DO degree, must have graduated from an accredited residency training program at time of hire, be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine at time of hire, must be licensed in the State of Illinois at time of hire, and sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations. Desired qualifications include an interest in full spectrum family medicine and an interest in academic family medicine.
