Join Cargill's team as a Refrigeration Boiler Technician I, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining industrial refrigeration systems to ensure safe and efficient operations in food production. Your skills will directly contribute to providing high-quality food products to a diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Familiar with all utility systems and equipment
Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, commercial HVAC equipment and cold storage blast operations
Ability to operate and run diagnostics checks on a variety of equipment and systems
Working understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmissions
Good understanding of computer management systems and Office products (Excel, Word)
Good understanding of basic troubleshooting processes of mechanical and electrical systems
Familiar with all levels of machine PM’s and able to work in a cold environment down to -40 and heights up to 36 feet
Must be able to train and be certified in Hazmat A Entry
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Good communication skills (reading, written and oral)
Excellent work performance and able to access a computer from home 24/7
Must be willing to work scheduled department hours and weekends and overtime as required
Demonstrate professional working relationships
Demonstrate ability to perform the task of the job
Ability to work in extreme cold for extended periods of time (<32F to -35F)
Ability to be fitted, wear and work in a full face respirator
Able and willing to obtain RETA CARO and CIRI certifications
