Job Description
Join BJ's Wholesale Club as an Entry Level Optical Specialist, where you will dispense optical products and provide exceptional service to our members. Work in a collaborative environment while assisting patients with their eyewear needs and enjoying a range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing spectacles and optical products as per prescriptions
Advising patients on lenses and frames
Ensuring accurate order data entry and filing
Providing excellent member service in person and over the phone
Taking measurements and ensuring correct frame selection
Assisting Optical Manager with opening and closing procedures
Maintaining club policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Must be licensed to work as an optician within the State
Strong interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Open shift availability required for full-time positions
At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of optical products and business practices
High school diploma or college degree
Experience in big box wholesale, retail, and/or optical
