ER Nurse Job Details

• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER Float)
• Location: Pennington, NJ (Float to all 4 campuses)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Hourly Pay Rate: $83.70
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1880 - $2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State RN License
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccination required
• Ability to float to all four Pennington campuses

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Float between multiple hospital campuses as part of the ER Float Pool
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility by working every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
