Job Description
Join Bethesda Health as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON-RN) to lead nursing units, enhance patient care, and drive infection control initiatives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide management oversight for multiple nursing units
Assist the Director of Nursing
Lead infection prevention and control programs
Ensure regulatory compliance and manage staff performance
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve clinical outcomes
Conduct investigations of incidents and implement corrective actions
Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
Conduct staff education on infection prevention principles
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in the state of employment
Three to four years of recent nursing experience with demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
One year management experience
Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
