Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapy services, support patient recovery, and contribute to a collaborative care environment. This role offers guaranteed weekly hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a skilled nursing facility setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional needs and therapy goals.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Adapt treatment approaches as needed to meet evolving patient needs.
  • Participate in care planning meetings and contribute professional recommendations.

Requirements

  • Active and current California Occupational Therapist license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience , preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compliance with all facility policies and professional standards.

Schedule

  • Variable shift schedule; hours may vary based on facility needs.

Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications and hold the required certifications to be eligible for application.
