Job Description
Join OCHIN as an Epic Certified Inpatient Orders Analyst, where you will play a critical role in configuring and supporting Epic EHR applications for member organizations. This position offers the chance to positively impact healthcare delivery while working in a collaborative and innovative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex build and configuration within Epic Inpatient Applications
Collaborate on assigned work tasks and communicate with contractor resources
Participate in planning, implementation, and go-live activities
Lead working sessions with OCHIN members to resolve complex integration work orders
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on application across the organization
Document build specifications and complex clinic workflows
Provide elbow support during Go-Lives and Dress Rehearsals
Lead trainings and workgroups for members
Required Qualifications
Work history in Healthcare IT
Bachelor's Degree (Health Informatics or Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience as an Epic Applications Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of build experience (for non-senior)
5 years of experience and minimum of 3 years of build experience (for senior)
Epic Certification or Proficiency in Inpatient Orders Certification
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency or certification in Bugsy
Strong organizational and project management skills
Process and detail-oriented with a focus on data-driven decision making
Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
