ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Columbia, Missouri.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Adult
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• No call responsibilities required
• No weekend shifts required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg or PACU specialty required
• Minimum 1 year travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Training provided on MediTech system
• Provide immediate post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery
• Closely monitor vital signs and assess for complications and side effects
• Manage patient pain and nausea
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care
• Coordinate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Subject to downstaffing within 36/48 hours based on weekly schedule during 13-week contract
