Job Description

Join Kaiser as a Psychiatric Social Worker and be a vital part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate care. You'll engage in direct patient assessments, treatment planning, and interventions to support mental health for diverse age groups, primarily focused on Gender Care. This role emphasizes communication, expertise in various treatment methodologies, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct timely assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for members
  • Select appropriate treatment modalities based on member needs
  • Provide high customer satisfaction and maintain documentation of clinical encounters
  • Conduct initial interviews and determine urgency of member needs
  • Provide therapy for adults, adolescents, and children
  • Offer clinical consultation regarding family interactions and community resources
  • Participate in quality management and continuous quality improvement activities

Required Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of post-graduate mental health therapy experience within the last five (5) years
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
  • National Provider Identifier
  • Knowledge of current DSM nomenclature
