Your responsibilities will include patient intake, assisting with procedures, and maintaining compliance with health standards, all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Escort patients and complete intake according to protocol
Clean and straighten exam room between patients
Prepare syringes and administer injections
Assist provider with injectable procedures
Prepare and route pathology and lab specimens
Respond to patient questions as instructed by the physician
Schedule or re-schedule appointments
Comply with OSHA and HIPAA standards
Maintain medication samples and discard out-of-date supplies
Train other employees on medical assistant duties
Assist with front desk procedures as needed
Perform additional duties as required
Required Qualifications
At least one (1) year of medical assisting experience
Completion of a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant program
Professionalism and strong customer service skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with doctors and patients
Ability to lift at least 15 pounds
Ability to stand for prolonged periods
