Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares weekly reports including documentation for management regarding the status of appointments and general patient information
  • Oversees the membership report and ensures current patient data is updated
  • Coordinates initial patient contact and ensures patient eligibility
  • Prepares and mails out new patient packets
  • Initiates Comfort Care appointments and troubleshoots issues
  • Completes a monthly membership report to review new members
  • Coordinates with customer service for unreachable patients
  • Validates patients’ attestation sheets and conducts research for follow-up visits
  • Ensures timely scheduling of patients and re-schedules as needed
  • Focus on Quality and assists with Band 1-3 patients
  • Performs regular Patient Services Representative duties
  • Inputs/updates patient demographic information
  • Schedules routine and follow-up appointments
  • Mentors, onboards and trains new team members
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a medical environment
  • Basic working knowledge of EPRG and Medicare Advantage quality requirements
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other departmental specific programs/application

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • ICD10 and CPT coding experience preferred
  • Proven ability to mentor and train others
  • Possess planning, organizing, conflict resolution, negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Independent problem identification/resolution and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks, demands simultaneously
  • Bilingual
