Job Description
Join William Charles Construction as a Construction Project Manager overseeing high voltage electrical projects in the clean energy sector. This role involves extensive travel and requires strong project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Establish site-specific safety requirements
Create a Project Execution Plan
Financial monitoring and reporting
Manage procurement of materials and subcontracts
Submit monthly cost to complete projections
Pre-construction planning with project team
Review and procure permits or licensing
Maintain project documentation
Communicate with contracting parties and owner’s representatives
Project closeout including final documentation and invoicing
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
3 to 5 years of Medium/High Voltage substation and transmission line construction experience (Project Manager I)
5+ years of Medium/High Voltage substation and transmission line construction experience (Project Manager II)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience with Project Management systems such as Procore, Build2Win, MS Project and/or P6 and HCSS
