Registered Nurse-PACU – Travel

Assignment Details:

• Contract: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Weekdays, 8-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Call: Rotating weekend call

Unit Details:

• Beds: 380
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 for Rad Onc
• Team Support: 2 secretaries, navigator, clinic nurse, dosimetrist, and therapists (currently short-staffed, 1–2 out); part-time MD coverage (shared across 2 hospitals)
• Equipment: Varian Trilogy, Varian 21EX, GE Lightspeed CT
• Charting Systems: Mosaiq & Meditech
• Procedures: EBRT/IMRT treatments & simulations

Requirements:

• License: Temporary Louisiana Radiation Therapy License (minimum required)
• Certifications: BCLS + Radiation Therapy license
• Must-Have Skills: Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Mosaiq, older Varian Linacs, and simulations
