Job Description
Join Mohr Talent as a Millwork and Stucco Estimator and play a crucial role in planning projects and calculating costs. You will collaborate with builders and architects to create competitive bids while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine costs
Calculate material quantities and costs for various projects
Collect and compare bids from suppliers and subcontractors
Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and clients
Assist in preparing proposals and participating in contract discussions
Maintain records of cost data and industry trends
Work with sales and business development teams to identify project opportunities
Ensure all estimates meet standards and project requirements
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in estimating millwork and/or stucco work
Strong understanding of materials, labor, and methods in millwork and stucco projects
Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST)
Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Experience working with builders, architects, and developers
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with subcontractor estimating on medium to large projects
