Job Title: RN ICU – Neurology (Neuro Transplant ICU)
City/State: Oklahoma City, OK
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
  • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
  • Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Monitor patient conditions, interpret data, and intervene appropriately.
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products per physician orders.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
  • Delegate tasks to appropriate support staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to diverse cultural and language needs.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in Neuro ICU or Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
Education Requirements:
  • Required: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program.
Certifications & Licensure:
  • Required:
    • Current RN License (Oklahoma or multistate compact).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association.
  • Preferred:
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
    • Transplant Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN).
