Key Responsibilities
Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients
Operate and maintain linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment
Accurately position patients using immobilization devices and imaging tools
Monitor patients during treatment sessions for adverse reactions
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and nurses
Maintain precise treatment records
Provide patient education on treatment procedures and side effects
Follow strict safety protocols to protect from radiation exposure
Participate in quality assurance procedures and equipment checks
Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
State licensure as required
Strong technical skills in operating radiation therapy equipment and imaging systems
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
Ability to work with precision and follow protocols
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical experience in a hospital, cancer center, or radiation oncology setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and treatment planning systems (e.g., Varian, Elekta, MOSAIQ, ARIA)
