• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (12 Hour Days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience in a hospital setting
• At least 3 months of travel nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Active Vermont RN license (Registered Nurse license)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
• All certifications must be in hand at time of application
• Skills checklist (pertinent to ER RN position), current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from the past two years
• Must have own vehicle
• Permanent address must be included in profile
• Local travelers (within 50 miles) are not eligible
• Requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission (max 5 days)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Screen and triage patients upon arrival to determine severity and appropriate course of treatment
• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions
• Maintain a safe and organized environment in the Emergency Department
• Participate in non-billable orientation and adhere to all hospital policies
