Job Description
As a Senior Patient Account Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in medical collections to resolve accounts efficiently while ensuring patient satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in managing collections for TLRA, adhering to guidelines, and maintaining positive patient relations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective collection services to recover accounts in accordance with guidelines
Document and update patient account information accurately
Handle inbound calls from patients and carriers professionally
Perform research and analysis of account issues
Maintain knowledge of collection requirements by payors
Assist patients in identifying financial assistance options
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in healthcare billing/collections or collection agency
Experience in a Customer Service call center environment
