Job Description

As a Vertical Sales Engineer at Spectrum Business, you'll evaluate complex business networking needs and recommend tailored solutions. You'll work closely with clients to design effective proposals and provide technical consultations, contributing to the growth of some of the country's largest brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate networking requirements and recommend solutions
  • Provide pre- and post-sale technical consultations
  • Develop cost-effective proposals with clients and Sales teams
  • Design solutions for client applications and prepare network topologies
  • Create technical presentations and explain product benefits
  • Support integration and implementation of solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Three or more years of telecommunications sales engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent
  • Foundational understanding of WAN solutions and related technologies
  • Basic understanding of the OSI model and various networking technologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Presentation and English communication skills
  • Ability to conduct consultative analysis
  • Valid driver's license and availability for travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four or more years of experience in sales engineering or network engineering
