Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to direct care providers
Assess the quality of care for specific patient populations
Coordinate and implement orientation of nursing staff
Develop individualized orientation programs and monitor progress
Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance clinical outcomes
Plan and implement annual competencies
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
Participate in system evaluation of technology and its impact on patients
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education/Critical Care Nursing
