Clinical Details
- Work Setting: Inpatient and outpatient hospital coverage
- Patient Volume: 25 patients per day in clinic, up to 8 elective surgical cases per day
- Call: Solo call coverage, nights and weekends
- Procedures: Upper and lower scopes, gall bladder removal, appendix removal, food bolus, bowel obstruction, hernia repair
- Consults and procedures in the emergency department
- ICU and critical care duties as needed
- EMR: EPIC
Requirements
- Board Certified or eligible in General Surgery
- License: North Carolina license
- BLS
- Experience: Five years of general surgery experience preferred
