Anakim Consulting seeks a NOC Watch Officer to provide crucial support in a 24x7x365 environment for federal customers. The role requires extensive experience in incident management and network operations, with a focus on large-scale monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Provide incident management and network operations support for an Enterprise Operations Center (EOC)
Support shift work and non-standard hours including nights and weekends
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
Eligibility to obtain government security access
Bachelor of Science degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
3+ years of experience supporting incident management in a NOC environment
Experience with fault and performance monitoring tools (IBM Netcool Omnibus, AppDynamics, HP Operations Manager)
Experience with incident management tools (BMC Remedy)
Experience in large-scale monitoring environments
2+ years of experience supporting implementation, integration, testing, and support of distributed applications
3+ years of experience with Service Management/ITIL framework
2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and resolution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability to support full on-site schedule
Ability to support 4x10 shift work in a 24x7x365 environment
