Job Description
Join Providence Newberg Medical Center as an Echocardiograph Technologist, where you'll perform vital cardiac ultrasound examinations and assist in advanced procedures, contributing to patient-focused care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders
Identify the presence or absence of disease using knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Assist physicians with invasive echocardiography examinations
Modify procedures to meet special circumstances and provide clinically useful information
Comply with standards set by the American Society of Echocardiography
Required Qualifications
Oregon Sonographer
National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree Applied Science in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
1 year Experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations or Minimum of 800 exams using all imaging modalities
Pediatric echocardiography experience
Familiarity with imaging support of advanced heart failure patients
Experience with echo guided trans-catheter procedures
