LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Weston, Florida.
Job Description & Requirements

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years direct OR RN liver/transplant experience
- Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience (reflected on skills checklist)
- Must have experience implanting organs (not just harvesting)
- Equipment Proficiency: Must be proficient in Misonix/CUSA
- Certifications (must have at submission unless noted):
- BLS (required at submission)
- ACLS (required at submission)
- NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
- On-Call Requirement: 1 shift per week + two (12-hour) weekend shifts per month (discussed with Nurse Manager at interview)
- Floating: Yes, within scope
- Block Scheduling: No
- Locals: Accepted, same rate (no radius rule)
- Pending License: Accepted
- RTO: Must be declared upfront at submission (additional requests likely not approved)
- Special Requirements: Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly

- Smoke-Free Facility: All travelers must be nicotine-free (cotinine test required in 10-panel drug screen)

- Scrubs: Ceil Blue (provided by facility)
- Charting: EPIC
- Parking: Free in unrestricted spaces
Skills Required:
- General Surgery: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair, Laparoscopic procedures, Mastectomy, Whipple
- Transplant Surgery: Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Organ donation
- Equipment/Instrumentation: Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Hana Table, Steris
- Emergency Management: Fire Safety
- Professional Knowledge/Skills: Infection control, Laser safety, Specimen handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (time-out), Urinary bladder catheterization, Wound management
Vaccine Requirements
- COVID-19: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
- Flu: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
Shift: 11:00 – 23:30 with liver call (will cover other cases if no liver/transplant cases)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs (3x12s) or 40 hrs (8/10s)
