Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
Unit: Hematology/Oncology (HEM/ONC) & Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Units

Job Details:

• Unit Capacity:
  • 24 Hem/Onc beds
  • 10 BMT beds
  • 17-bed overflow (H/O and Med Surg)
• Float Expectations:
  • May float to: General Pediatrics, PICU, NICU
  • May be assigned to sister campus (Scottish Rite Aflac)
  • BMT and HEM/ONC units are on adjacent floors (floors 9 & 10), may switch based on need during shift

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) experience required
• Licensure:
  • GA RN License or Compact License
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses) certification required
