Job Description

Join New Directions Mental Health as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, where you'll provide culturally sensitive outpatient therapy and develop comprehensive care plans to support client well-being in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans
Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
Independent license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) per state regulation
Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
