SSM Health seeks a Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance, budget management, and high-quality service delivery. This role is vital for fostering staff engagement and providing exceptional patient care within a supportive health system.
Key Responsibilities
Develops short term and long term goals and oversees the operation of the pharmacy.
Provides clinical, operational and financial oversight and direction for pharmacy programs, policies, and procedures.
Prepares an annual budget and reviews monthly financial statistics.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Collaborates with medical staff, nursing, administration, and regional pharmacy leadership.
Recruits, interviews, promotes, disciplines, and terminates pharmacy staff.
Precept pharmacy students and residents as applicable.
Required Qualifications
Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D; Bachelor of Pharmacy) from an accredited school of pharmacy
Five years experience, with two years in direct people management/leadership
Pharmacist License - Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification required within 90 days of employment
