Key Responsibilities
Follow the curriculum during the time of coverage
Plan and implement learning experiences for children
Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment
Support the social and emotional development of children
Interact with children in an appropriate and supportive manner
Encourage family involvement in the Head Start program
Collaborate effectively with other teachers in the classroom
Adhere to program policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Must obtain a criminal background check
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer literacy in email, word processing, and internet navigation
Preferred Qualifications
CDA Credential
AA/BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or related field
Two years experience working with adults in Human Services/Social Work fields
