Key Responsibilities
Provide patient-oriented service in a clinical or front office setting
Perform clerical and administrative duties related to patient care
Communicate with patients and families to complete the registration process
Utilize computer systems to verify patient data
Collect patient co-pays and discuss financial obligations
Confirm and create scheduled appointments for patient services
Generate and analyze patient data reports
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a hospital, office setting, customer service setting, or phone support setting
Influenza vaccination for the current flu season or commitment to receive it
Ability to work on a Per Diem basis
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with using Microsoft Office products
Experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department or medical setting
Experience in insurance reimbursement and financial verification
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Understanding of insurance policies and procedures
