Key Responsibilities
Filling and dispensing unit dose, IV, and chemotherapeutic medications
Ensuring prompt, safe, and accurate medication delivery to nursing units and other departments
Promoting teamwork and reflecting the Sisters of Providence Mission and Philosophy
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy or equivalent education/experience
Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
Experience with telephone call prioritization
Experience with stressful/urgent need situations
3 months practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
Experienced in IV admixture/aseptic techniques
Preferred Qualifications
1 year hospital pharmacy experience
