Key Responsibilities

  • Filling and dispensing unit dose, IV, and chemotherapeutic medications
  • Ensuring prompt, safe, and accurate medication delivery to nursing units and other departments
  • Promoting teamwork and reflecting the Sisters of Providence Mission and Philosophy

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy or equivalent education/experience
  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
  • Experience with telephone call prioritization
  • Experience with stressful/urgent need situations
  • 3 months practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
  • Experienced in IV admixture/aseptic techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
