Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician and make a significant impact in the lives of children and young adults experiencing mental health crises. You will provide critical support through crisis interventions and collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide culturally competent crisis interventions to children and young adults
Perform risk assessment and psychosocial evaluation during initial crisis response
Create safety plans with clients and their families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians (if relevant to the population serviced at the site)
