Key Responsibilities

  • Independently applies actuarial methodologies to complete structured projects
  • Builds tools to improve accuracy of actuarial analysis
  • Identifies and improves existing processes using actuarial techniques
  • Proactively resolves technical issues and assists others with troubleshooting
  • Creates instructions and training materials
  • Mentors new team members
  • Communicates insights and solutions to various stakeholders
  • Ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related Actuarial/business/analytical experience
  • 2 years of Actuarial or analytical business experience
  • 3 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams
  • Experience with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL, SAS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • P&C Pricing/Reserving/Catastrophe or Analysis experience
  • Experience working within three lines of defense model risk management framework
  • Experience with Igloo or Snowflake
  • US military experience or a military spouse/domestic partner
