Key Responsibilities
Independently applies actuarial methodologies to complete structured projects
Builds tools to improve accuracy of actuarial analysis
Identifies and improves existing processes using actuarial techniques
Proactively resolves technical issues and assists others with troubleshooting
Creates instructions and training materials
Mentors new team members
Communicates insights and solutions to various stakeholders
Ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related Actuarial/business/analytical experience
2 years of Actuarial or analytical business experience
3 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams
Experience with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques
Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL, SAS)
Preferred Qualifications
P&C Pricing/Reserving/Catastrophe or Analysis experience
Experience working within three lines of defense model risk management framework
Experience with Igloo or Snowflake
US military experience or a military spouse/domestic partner
