Key Responsibilities
Perform bench work according to established scratch procedures
Prepare product and form product to specifications
Bake prepared product using appropriate time and temperature
Prepare Bakery products according to established recipes
Properly insert products into proof box and set controls
Prepare and fry donuts according to established procedures
Insert and retrieve products from the freezer
Provide exemplary customer service
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and adhere to safety regulations
Accurately record special orders on Bakery products
Assist in maintaining Bakery backroom, cooler and freezer efficiency
Required Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of job specific skills assessment
6 to 12 months experience or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program
At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working in Bakery or related industry
