We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients on our Med-Surg unit. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions, pre- and post-surgery needs, and chronic illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform head-to-toe assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms and conditions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).

REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years experience as an RN in a Med Surg
BLS from AHA
