Join LSG Sky Chefs as a Sous Chef and leverage your culinary expertise in a dynamic, high-volume production environment serving leading airlines. Support the Executive Chef in daily operations while maintaining high standards in quality, presentation, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and supervise food production activities
  • Assume responsibilities of Executive Chef when not available
  • Supervise and control kitchen helpers in food storage
  • Conduct inventories and monitor material consumption
  • Participate in the development of food products and menus
  • Maintain hygiene, health and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with recipe specifications
  • Guide, motivate and develop subordinate employees
  • Implement and control the cost budget

Required Qualifications

  • Culinary Education or Equivalent Experience
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and relevant regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA)
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
  • Experience managing large-scale food prep
  • Skilled in managing food costs and inventory planning
  • High standards for food presentation and cleanliness
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable using kitchen technology and basic Microsoft Office tools
