Lincoln Electric is seeking a Designer/Drafter to support its Plant Engineering team in Euclid, Ohio. The role involves 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and collaboration on engineering projects, offering a chance to work in a leading global organization committed to innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with creation/modification of 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and store electronic files using document management systems
Assist in development and maintenance of templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support fabrication through the creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM) using Autodesk Vault or Siemens TeamCenter
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy with Microsoft software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to learn 3D CAD drafting and detail print making skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
