• Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 11, 2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Monday through Friday, every third weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical ICU (MICU) or ICU setting
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Proven MICU/ICU clinical skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every third weekend
• Compliance with all onboarding health and professional requirements: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Drug Screening, Background Check, Core Competencies Exam, Skills Checklist, Specialty Exam, Resume, References, Employment eligibility verification

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding care, procedures, and recovery
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
