Job Description & Requirements

Position Highlights

• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday
• Call: 1–2 days per week + every 2nd–4th weekend, rotating holidays
• Scrubs: Provided (Ceil Blue)
• Charting: Epic EMR
• Medication System: Pyxis & Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases across multiple specialties:
  • General, OB/GYN, Urology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Cardiovascular, Bariatrics
• Pull & prep cases using preference cards
• Set up, clean, and turn over OR rooms
• Assist with surgical equipment (arthroscopic pumps/shavers, cautery, laser, fracture table, c-arm x-ray, etc.)
• Float as needed within peri-operative areas (Pre-Op, PACU, Patient Center)

  • OR: 1:1
  • Patient Center: 1:1–4 depending on acuity
  • PACU: 2:1

Requirements Experience: 2+ years OR experience (required) Education: BSN required License/Certs: SD RN License (or Compact) BLS, ACLS (required) PALS (preferred)
