Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a Local CDL-A Truck Driver and enjoy home daily schedules along with excellent benefits. You'll be responsible for the efficient pickup and delivery of cargo, ensuring safety and compliance while operating a forklift and completing necessary paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and setup
Exercise independent judgment regarding trailer building and tearing down
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
