Job Details:
• Position assigned to ED unit, specifically caring for inpatient/CICU level holds in Emergency Department
• 2 years of experience required with strong PCU background within the last year
• ED experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted with EPIC experience and 2 years experience
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG test on arrival
• Must have experience managing and titrating cardiac drips including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labetalol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine
• Care for patients with chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia, and medical/surgical/trauma/oncology/orthopedic overflow
• Manage post-catheterization patients with stents, ICD/pacemaker insertions, and cardioversions
• Work with specialized equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, Alaris pumps, and Phillips monitoring systems
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Valid New Hampshire state license required
• Drug screen must be obtained within 14 days of start date
• References required
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
